However

About 10-20% of adopted children suffer from emotional scars
that run so deep and wide that they no longer trust.

They do not comprehend feelings. They are impulsive, lack cause and effect thinking, they have an inability to reason. They have a limited or complete lack of conscience. They lie, steal, rage, and commit violent acts. They lash out at society the way people lashed out at them. They turn from relationships the way they were abandoned and neglected.

If a child has a physical heart disorder,
we understand that the child needs a
heart specialists to help him heal.

Just as the family doctor wouldn't consider
operating on a damaged heart,
traditional therapy may not be capable of
healing the emotionally damaged heart
of a child who has gone through
extreme abuse and neglect.

These children need
an emotional heart specialist!

Paula received specialized therapy.
